Your donation as a Gamecock Club Member helps provide aid that includes tuition fees, meal costs, housing costs, medical costs, injury assistance and other educational needs.

Regardless of how you choose to support the Gamecocks, or how much you choose to give, your support of South Carolina Athletics is extremely important to us.  Accordingly, it is our goal to make sure that whether you are calling in to order a ticket over the phone, tailgating before the game or enjoying a ballgame from the stands, you have a wonderful experience that leaves you proud to be a Gamecock fan.

ENGAGING OUR MEMBERS

Whether it is coming to campus and touring an athletic facility, getting involved with your county’s local Gamecock Club Chapter, or engaging with other Gamecocks at a networking event, the Gamecock Club helps provide a wide-variety of engagement opportunities for its members. Investing in the community with our in-state and out-of-state chapters is paramount to our athletics department,  proactively helping bridge the gap between philanthropy and fandom.

Explanation of Benefits

COMPLIMENTARY AWAY TRIP

Each Diamond Spur member and a guest are annually invited on an away football or basketball trip. Members travel with the team, stay at the team hotel, are treated to dinner with the travel party, and receive complimentary game tickets.

GAMECOCK CLUB PUBLICATION – Spurs and Feathers

All Gamecock Club members receive a periodic publication highlighting events and recruiting news from all Gamecock sports.

MEMBERSHIP CARDS

Gamecock Club membership cards grant admission to events open exclusively to Gamecock Club members.

OPPORTUNITY TO NAME BENEFICIARY

Golden Spur members and above have the option to name a beneficiary for their Gamecock Club membership. The recipient is entitled to the benefits of the membership without losing priority points or ticket privileges as long as he or she maintains the same giving level. The named beneficiary must be a relative within one generation of the original donor. No corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, etc. may be named a beneficiary. All membership levels pass to the member’s spouse as long as the spouse continues at the same level or increases his or her level of giving.

THE MCGUIRE CLUB AT COLONIAL LIFE ARENA

The McGuire Club opens one hour before tipoff for men’s basketball non-conference games and 1 1/2 hours before tipoff for men’s basketball SEC games. A buffet is served when the club opens and is available until tipoff. Pass holders also have access to a cash bar. Light snacks are served during halftime. McGuire Club access is available exclusively to season ticket holders at the Golden Spur, Platinum Spur, and Diamond Spur levels, as well as Founders Club season ticket holders.

ELEVATOR ACCESS AT WILLIAMS-BRICE STADIUM

Members at the Half Scholarship level and above may access specific elevators at Williams-Brice Stadium by presenting a current membership card.

GAMECOCK CLUB CALENDARS

Wall calendars featuring South Carolina team schedules, student-athletes, and athletics facilities are mailed in late November to Gamecock Club members at the Century level and above.

MEDIA GUIDES

Football media guides are mailed to members at the Full Scholarship level and above each season. The Gamecock Club may not re-issue free media guides. If a member does not receive or misplaces a media guide and wishes to obtain a new copy, the member must purchase a replacement from the South Carolina Athletics Ticket Office.

PREMIUM SEATING

Silver Spur members and above are eligible to purchase premium seating for football, basketball, and baseball. The option to purchase premium seating is based on availability.

 

Points and Ranking

In an effort to equitably serve Gamecock Club members, a priority point system was developed to determine rankings for season ticket assignments, away and postseason game ticket distribution, parking pass assignments, and other special events. The current system was voted on and approved by the Gamecock Club Board of Directors on November 3, 2006. (Amended January 24, 2014)

Gamecock Club members accumulate points for the following:

  • One point for every $100 donated to the Department of Athletics
  • One point for each season ticket purchased for football, baseball, and men’s and women’s basketball
  • Five points for each consecutive year Gamecock Club membership
  • The Decade Dividends program will be modified to increase the bonus awarded at each decade of giving. When a member reaches a new decade of giving, they will receive an additional point bonus that corresponds with their consecutive years (i.e. 20 point bonus for a member’s 20th year of membership). This adjustment will be applied retroactively for all members.

SEASON TICKET RANK

For the assignment of season tickets, Gamecock Club members are ranked by membership level first and then by points within each specified level. The table below provides season ticket rankings as of January 1, 2023
