County Chapters

County Chapters are local extensions of the Gamecock Club that bring members together to celebrate Gamecock sprit, support our student-athletes, and build community close to home.

Each South Carolina county can have one official chapter, with additional out-of-state chapters approved by the Board. Chapters host events, promote membership, and connect fans of all ages through shared pride and purpose.

What Chapters Do

Build Community – Connect Gamecocks through local events and gatherings.

Support Athletics – Promote membership and raise awareness for Gamecock Athletics.

Lead Locally – Chapter Presidents serve as ambassadors and part of the Gamecock Club Advisory Board.

Whether you’re attending a watch party, helping grow membership, or leading a chapter, County Chapters offer a meaningful way to engage and make an impact.

August 2 | Richland Co. Garnet Girls Brunch

Join the Richland County Gamecock Club for the 2025 Garnet Girl Brunch on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Seawell’s, located at 1125 Rosewood Drive, Columbia, SC 29201.

Enjoy a morning of Gamecock spirit while supporting The University of South Carolina Women’s Athletics programs.

August 5 | Spartanburg Co. Gamecock Club Kickoff Party

Join the Spartanburg County Gamecock Club for their fall Kickoff Party. Hear from Darren Uscher, Gamecock Football Director of Player Personnel & Recruiting as he looks ahead to the 2025 football season. There will also be photos and fun with Cocky, great food and drinks to purchase, and fellowship with Spartanburg Gamecocks.

This event will take place Tuesday, August 5 from 6 – 8 PM at Fr8yrd.

August 12 | Dillon-Marion Co. Kickoff

Join the Dillon-Marion County Gamecock Club for an unforgettable evening as they look to kick off the 2025-26 athletic year in true Gamecock Style! Hear from Head Softball Coach Ashley Chastain Woodard and Wes Mitchell with Gamecock Central. In addition to the featured guest speakers, the evening will include a silent auction with a variety of great items up for grabs. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or a new supporter, there’s something for everyone.

This event will take place Tuesday, August 12 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM at Dry Dock Seafood.

August 14 | Sumter Co. Football Kickoff

Join the Sumter County Gamecock Club for their 2nd Annual Kickoff Social! Enjoy an evening filled with Gamecock swag, food and beverages, a cash bar, a silent auction and 50/50 raffle and a special appearance from Cocky!

This event will take place Thursday, August 14 from 6 – 8 PM at American Legion – Fair Memorial Building.

August 15 | Charleston Co. Football Kickoff

Join the Charleston County Gamecock Club for an unforgettable evening as they look to kick off the 2025 football season in true Gamecock Style!

Hear from special guest speakers, Jeff Crane, Senior Deputy Athletics Director and Darren Uscher, Gamecock Football Director of Player Personnel & Recruiting. Enjoy catering by Home Team BBQ. Participate in the live and silent auction. Some of the auction items include tickets to every home football game, autographed Gamecock memorabilia, a 4-person Williams-Brice Stadium Tour, two club passes for 2001 at the Vanderbilt game, gift cards and much more!

This event will take place Friday, August 15 from 6 – 11 PM at Cotton Dock Boone Hall Plantation.

August 23 | Orangeburg Co. Football Kickoff

Join the Orangeburg County Gamecock Club as they celebrate the start of the 2025 football season! Enjoy live entertainment from The Mighty Kicks Band and a silent auction featuring exclusive Gamecock memorabilia, local items and more!

Meet the new Orangeburg County Gamecock Club Board Members. Enjoy an unforgettable evening with fellow fans and delicious food and drinks (cash bar available).

This event will take place Saturday, August 23 from 6 – 10:30 PM at Duncannon Plantation.

August 25 | Darlington Co. Kickoff

Join the Darlington County Gamecock Club for their Fall Kickoff Social. Hear from special guest speaker, Senior Deputy Athletics Director Jeff Crane as he looks ahead to the 2025-26 athletic season and don’t miss the chance to get photos with Cocky!

This event will take place on Monday, August 25 at 6 PM at the Hartsville Country Club.

August 26 | Augusta Gamecock Club Football Kickoff

Join the Augusta Gamecock Club for their Fall Kickoff Social. Hear from Gamecock Club CEO Wayne Hiott, Head Softball Coach Ashley Chastain Woodard, and Gamecock Central’s Wes Mitchell as they look ahead to the 2025-26 athletic season.

This event will take place on Tuesday, August 26 at 5:30 PM at the Savannah River Brewing Co.

August 30 | Atlanta Gamecock Club Headquarters

Join the Atlanta Gamecock Club for the Gamecock Headquarters ahead of the Aflac Kickoff Game as the Gamecocks take on the Hokies!

Enjoy an evening of Gamecock camaraderie, cold drinks and electrifying energy to kick off the season opener! Whether you’re local or traveling in for the weekend, all are welcome!

This event will take place Saturday, August 30 from 4:30 – 7:30 PM at Monday Night Brewing – The Garage.

This is FREE for all Gamecocks!
